Assessment Technology Tool
Moodle: is a course management system designed to help educators create online course with opportunities for rich interaction. When using Moodle people can develop additional function to the software. I think Moodle is a good software that educators can use in their classrooms. Instead of wasting their time making copies of their syllabus to give out to their students they can have it in Moodle. And if they want to change things from the syllabus they don’t have to go through the trouble of making a new syllabus to hand out to their students. This is the first time to use this Moodle and I think it is really cool. The software is used all over the world by universities, colleges, schools, companies’ ad independent teacher. Moodle is open and completely free to use.

There’s a lot to do on the Web, and Firefox is full of helpful features to make your time online more productive. Firefox delivers helpful new features to make your online experience more productive.

NiceNet: is a free discussion forum which can be used by all educators. Anything can happen when using NiceNet. Students and teachers can do all sort of things such like posting their writing in NiceNet so that other students can look it. As for teacher they can post assignments for their students. Teachers can read students’ work sample of writing and any member of the class can also read other students’ writing. Students respond to various topics under what is called "conferencing," usually posted in advance by the teacher. Depending on the purpose of the writing, it may be revised or not. The writing can be informal and shared with others in the class. Or it can be a final draft posted for assessment by other students and/or the teacher. It is expected that students will be respectful of the writing and opinions of others and that they will respond accordingly. Sometimes students use conferencing to discuss about various topics such as what are the requirements to complete the assignment. There are then the options to create an associated Conferencing topic, which allows for group collaboration, and there is even the option of having a reminder automatically sent some days before the date due. Students can also message everyone in their group to let them know what is happening or they can just selected individuals from their class or group. This is one think I love about NiceNet. I can do all sort of things when using this forum and I will recommend that other educators use it for their classes.

Del.icio.us: is a collection of websites I bookmarked this semester when taking this class ED451 Audio Visual by Dr. Cyrus. Del.icio.us is also a good for educators and students to use and I highly recommend it. Before I took this class ED451 Audio Visual I know nothing about Del.icio.us or any of the technology tools. Now that I learn how to use it and I have an account I don’t have to go through the trouble of spending many hours online doing my research and printing out stuff. Del.icio.us allows you to easily add sites you like to your personal collection of links, to categorize those sites with keywords, and to share your collection not only between your own browsers and machines, but also with others.

It can include pop-up icons, bookmarks, hyperlinks, embedded documents, etc to form one project. Blogger is a person who writes blogs or weblogs.
